The reaction system exhibits a pronounced thermal effect, which, as confirmed by the thermal analysis of the wood‑treatment material components, arises from their vigorous thermal decomposition. Based on the extraction rate of the wood‑treatment material, the characteristics of the products, and the extraction mechanism, a model of the subcritical and supercritical extraction process has been developed. At temperatures below 120°C, the process involves the physical dissolution of low‑molecular‑weight compounds present in the wood‑treatment material.

In the internet era, it may not be your competitors who defeat you—but rather your own reluctance to adapt. The future is already here; if you fail to recognize emerging trends and keep pace with the times, you will inevitably be left behind. Today, it is no longer the outsiders who outpace the insiders; it is the forces of change that render outdated practices and obsolete scale irrelevant. After several years of rapid growth, China’s architectural coatings industry remains vibrant and poised for continued expansion. As a participant in—and witness to—this sector, how can we seize the prevailing trends and align ourselves with them? Lin Liping1, Huang Shengyou2, Li Junchang3 650224; 3. Vietnam National University of Forestry, Hanoi, Vietnam 156200) argues that the unreasonable definition of functional units is one of the primary reasons why verification results fail to gain broad social acceptance. The authors propose introducing “standard products” as functional units in panel furniture—a convenient accounting approach—so that the carbon footprint of a standard product can serve as a proxy for the carbon emissions of an entire product category, thereby enabling comparability among products from different categories and companies.
